If Biden were to lose Scarborough…
The White House-friendly MSNBC program “Morning Joe” lambasted the administration’s “stumbling and bumbling” reaction to the classified documents scandal on Monday, following the weekend disclosure that additional sensitive documents were discovered at the president’s Delaware residence.
“By stumbling and bumbling around, by not getting their timeline right, we just displayed a graphic that says an undetermined number of documents were found in Biden’s garage,” remarked co-host and former Republican congressman Joe Scarborough. “No longer unknown. No longer unknown
“At this point, we’ve been in operation for two months. They must clear this up… “Amateur hour is over, they require complete transparency, and they’ve handled it improperly from the beginning,” he added.
The White House acknowledged on Saturday that an additional five secret documents were discovered at the president’s Wilmington house, raising the total number of classified records recovered at the residence in the past week to six. Other confidential documents were discovered in the home’s garage and at the Penn Biden Center think tank on November 2 and last month, respectively.
The anchor of “Morning Joe” with Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough, criticized the Biden administration’s “stumbling and bumbling” reaction to the secret documents affair.

The White House Counsel’s Office urged that the government turn over the materials to the National Archives in their original form and is participating with a Justice Department inquiry led by Robert Hur, special counsel.
Scarborough said that the Biden administration’s piecemeal attempts to come clean about the documents are stoking distrust among Republicans and others.
“Transparency, I believe, works best for the Biden administration and for Biden himself, because when they discover documents, they immediately report it,” he remarked. “A vastly different circumstance from Donald Trump’s… Politically and legally, there is an enormous difference between the two situations. Biden’s toughest antagonist, though, has been his own staff and team.
Jonathan Lemire, White House bureau director for Politico and anchor of MSNBC’s “Way Too Early,” stated that Democrats were agitated by the “drip, drip, drip” of record discoveries.
According to Lemire, Democrats advised him that the Biden team should have begun searching for secret information soon after the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago on August 8 and retrieved boxes of records stolen from the White House in January 2021 to “ensure we don’t have a similar problem.”
Let’s ensure that there are no loose documents lying around, even by accident.
When no search was conducted. And it wasn’t until November, when a Penn Biden Center employee was cleaning up the office and discovered the documents, that Lemire realized, “We may have a problem here.”
“Then, even more Democrats ask, ‘Why did it take so long, even though it’s the first week of November?’ How are things halfway through January?’ And what we just discovered about further documents on Saturday, and it’s this drip, drip, drip that’s the issue at the moment.”
