A mother of four has appeared in court on charges of killing two men, including her lover, who was reportedly discovered with his penis severed.
Samir Esbeck, 59, and his companion Sarkis Abboud, 61, were stabbed to death at their flat in the inner-Melbourne neighborhood of Brunswick at 5:20 a.m. on May 5. Jasmine Eveleigh is suspected of carrying out the murders.
While Mr. Abboud, 61, passed away from stab wounds while traveling to the hospital, Mr. Esbeck, 59, reportedly had his penis removed and died at the spot.

Later on that morning, the 44-year-old was discovered covered in a significant quantity of blood at a Carlton tram stop.
The request for a psychiatric assessment was made by Ms Eveleigh’s attorney Andrew McKenna at a committal hearing on Monday morning.

It is said that Ms. Eveleigh and Mr. Esbeck shared an apartment in the Brunswick building near the intersection of Breese and Hope Streets.
Mr. McKenna asked for the case to be postponed during his short court appearance in the Melbourne Magistrates Court until the mental health report was finished.
On September 19, the case will be brought up again in court for a committal mention.
