Swansea is now the focus of a murder investigation following the tragic death of a 48-year-old man in the Clase area.
The South Wales Police have taken charge of the case, aiming to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to a police spokesperson, law enforcement officers responded to a call reporting an incident at a residence on Hill View Crescent earlier this morning, shortly after 10:30 am.
As a result, a 38-year-old man was apprehended on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
The process of formally identifying the victim is set to take place.
Detective Inspector Stuart Prendiville expressed understanding of the shock that this incident has brought to the tightly-knit Clase community.
He reassured the residents that an early arrest has been made, and the police will maintain an active presence in the area as they progress their investigation, seeking to provide reassurance to the community.
