We are pleased to announce to all the candidates attempting the National Examinations Council (NECO) June/July SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (INTERNAL) that the examination timetable is out.
The NECO 2022 timetable is the most valuable asset for all the candidates preparing for the June/July SSCE. It allows candidates to know exactly when a specific subject is scheduled.
Candidates take the NECO June/July examination in their last stage of Secondary School Education. The SSCE is in two categories. One is for candidates in the third and final year of their senior secondary education, and it is called SSCE Internal. At the same time, the Second is SSCE External and is for candidates not in the School system, i.e. Private Candidates.
Latest Update:
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has denied a report that it had scheduled a test for Sallah day, July 9.
NECO said in a statement issued by its Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani, that it was aware of all religious festivals and would not schedule any tests on such days.
“The National Examinations Council (NECO) wishes to state that no examinations have been scheduled for Saturday, July 9th, 2022.”
“This is in contrast to some reports that the council has scheduled the examination for July 9, 2022, which is Sallah Day” (Eid- Adha).
“Because religious festivals are important, the council has always made adequate provision for them when setting examination dates.”
“The council has granted a whole examination-free week in the ongoing Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for school-based candidates, beginning Friday, 8th July to Wednesday, 13th July 2022, to allow Muslim faithful enough time to celebrate the festival.”
NECO Exam Date
According to the NECO 2022 Timetable, the examination has been scheduled to take off on 27TH JULY and ends on 12TH AUGUST, 2022.
