If you’ve recently purchased a Kit Kat, don’t eat it just yet: Nestle South Africa says it is recalling some of its Kit Kat products due to the possibility that they may contain pieces of glass.
The voluntary recall covers only products with specific production codes that are on the label.
“To date, we have not received any complaints or reported injuries,” it said in a statement on Thursday. “We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution having discovered the presence of small pieces of glass during our quality and safety checks,” the food company said.
