The President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has expressed his unwavering determination to continue the ongoing protests across the nation.
In a conversation with Channels Television at the Unity Fountain in Abuja, Ajaero emphasized that no government action or overture can deter the organized labour from pursuing their demands.
Commencing as planned on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, the demonstrations began slightly later than expected, with members assembling in large numbers and wielding high placards and loudspeakers to voice their grievances.
The unwavering stance of the NLC indicates a deep-seated belief in the importance of their cause and the urgency of addressing the anti-people policies implemented by the government.
