Orvi, India’s most ethical maker of handmade surfaces and home-decor pieces, has collaborated with Italian designer Matteo Cibic to create a modern line of handcrafted home-pieces and surfaces inspired by raw threads.
Matteo Cibic’s Filo Collection goods
Filo is the result of a unique collaboration between Orvi and famous international designer Matteo Cibic. This series focuses on infinity, weaving fibers into unending twists to create a three-dimensional piece that is nearly mesmerizing. It sells a variety of hip new age decor items that also serve as captive storytellers. This collection is a celebration of craftsmanship and modern aesthetics, handcrafted by artists who have mastered the disappearing art of bas-relief, metal inlay, and stone carving.
Cibic used several colours of cream, green, red, and black, as well as gleamy brass, to combine geometric and decorative patterns in this contemporary collection. Filo is named by threads that appear organically on natural fabric and flow on, almost convivially, to the surface, creating an immersive and joyful effect.
In this much-anticipated décor show, Orvi will also show off their in-house designs and best-sellers.
From June 7th to June 12th, 2022, Orvi will be exhibiting in Hall 6, Stand F 34, at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy.
