The Pentagon stated over the weekend that it has begun an investigation into one of its ‘diversity’ officers after it was discovered that she posted insulting comments about white people on social media.
The tweets of Kelisa Wing, an Army veteran and the current chief ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ officer at the Department of Defense’s Education Activity office, were revealed for the first time last week and have since become the subject of government scrutiny.
Fox News revived the previous tweets, which include ‘Karen’ and ‘CAUdacity’ – a play on the word Caucasian – to insult white people. The posts were apparently made to private after the news organization requested response.
The account, along with the longtime DOD employee’s LinkedIn profile, has subsequently been deleted, as the federal official’s tweets from several years ago have become a matter of national concern.
The fact that Wing, who was appointed to head of the Education office during the pandemic, supervises the education of Pentagon officials’ children – including those of active duty service personnel – is perhaps most disturbing.
The Pentagon stated over the weekend that it has begun an investigation into one of its ‘diversity’ officers after it was uncovered that she posted insulting comments about white people to her social media accounts.
“I’m tired of these white people in these [professional development] meetings,” Wing wrote on July 23, 2020, insulting an unnamed lady at a federal conference.
The statement continues, “This woman had the audacity to assert that black people can also be racist.”
I was compelled to terminate the session and give Karen the BUSINESS.
African-American Wing continues, ‘We are not the majority, we have no authority.’
In December 2021, Wing, who has served for the DOD for sixteen years, was appointed to DEI director. Her office controls the education of children of Pentagon employees and military personnel stationed overseas.
The plethora of anti-white messages on Wing’s social media appear to have vanished around the time of her promotion, but the posts written prior to landing the role remained and were reported by Fox News last week.
Since then, a DOD official has confirmed that the agency is aware of the posts and is currently’reviewing’ the situation.
Cmdr. Nicole Schwegman issued a statement on Friday admitting that an internal probe was already underway, stating, “We are aware of news stories concerning a DoDEA official.”
The investigation is being conducted by the office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, and will determine if the self-described ‘woke’ chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer’s remarks violate federal guidelines prohibiting racism from officials – particularly those who work with children.
On July 23, 2020, Wing wrote, “I’m exhausted with these white people in these [professional development] meetings,” insulting an unnamed woman at a federal conference.
The spokesman stated that diversity, equity, and inclusion activities in the Department of Education and the Arts (DoDEA) are essential to establishing and maintaining an organizational culture in which all students, educators, and staff are appreciated and respected.
“We remain committed to ensuring that military-connected students, their families, and our employees have equitable access to opportunities and resources that enhance academic accomplishment and job readiness.”
Wing, an active supporter of the Black Lives Matter and Defund the Police movements, is also an author who has written multiple progressive novels in the ‘Racial Justice In America’ series.
The books are disturbingly aimed for children.

The boobs feature titles such as ‘What Is White Privilege?’ and ‘What Does It Mean to Defund the Police?’, which reflect the author’s radical viewpoints as expressed on Twitter.
The former asks white children if they will “truly feel good at the conclusion of the race when you look back and see people overcoming hurdles that you never had to face?”
Last Monday, Fox News unearthed tweets in which she bragged about her enlightenment.
Despite the fact that these are published children’s books written by a federal official responsible for educating children, the primary source of criticism is Wing’s now-deleted Twitter account.
‘[B]eing antiracist implies actively opposing racism… NEVER will you come… Stop focusing on whiteness,’ remarked Wing.
On another occasion, Wing reacted to a user who stated, “I am fatigued by 99 percent of white guys and 95 percent of white women in school.” Where can I temporarily escape from white noise?’
Wing said, “If another Karen shares her emotions with me… I risk losing it…
In a separate post, Wing responded to a user who questioned an article she had written that asserted ‘racism is woven into the very fabric of our country’ and urged schools to combat ‘racist tyranny.’
“Goodbye, Karen,” Wing posted dismissively.
Karen is an online slang term for a white, middle-aged lady who is often entitled and white.
In previous posts, she described Donald Trump as the “whole male version of a Karen” and his Education Secretary Betsy DeVos as “the queen of Karens.”
She tweeted the following in response to a user’s concern about “white bullshit” in education: “If another Karen informs me about her feelings… I risk losing it…
Wing has also boasted on many times that she is “awake,” including a post with a photo of herself wearing a Jay-Z outfit.
DailyMail.com has contacted the Department of Defense Education Activity for comment on the probe and the educator’s current employment situation.
Before joining the Defense Department, Wing taught and served in the United States Army.
According to her website’s profile, Wing attained the rank of staff sergeant during her military service.
Fox News resurfaced the old posts, which use well-worn slang terms to mock white people include ‘Karen’ and ‘CAUdacity’ – a play on the word Caucasian – and her account was reportedly set to private after the outlet reached out for comment.
