While Kylie Jenner’s followers are up in arms about the controversial Schiaparelli outfit she wore to Paris Fashion Week, the reality TV star has found an odd ally in Peta!
Following criticism of the billionaire’s clothing, which included a faux lion’s head and which social media critics claimed “glamorizes trophy hunting,” animal rights advocates have released a statement IN SUPPORT OF the attire.

The mother of two was placed in the front row as the designer Daniel Roseberry’s VIP guest. Doja Cat, a musician who was also invited to the performance, wore a weird crimson embroidered outfit.
Kylie donned a black velvet dress without straps and black and gold accents. But what stole the show was what appeared to be a severed lion’s head on the shoulder of the cosmetics magnate.
Kylie’s design, conceived by Roseberry, dominated the runway, with numerous models wearing animal “heads” on their couture gowns.
According to Schiaparelli, the “fake taxidermy” looks were handcrafted and designed to “appear as lifelike as possible.”
Kylie gushed over the controversial garment in an Instagram photo, writing, “Beauty and the beast. Wow, I really enjoyed wearing this hand-crafted, man-made work of false art. Beautiful”.
Aside from Kylie’s celebrity friends, though, the dress was an abysmal fail among her admirers.

PETA responds, “Outstandingly Innovative”
Surprisingly, though, PETA issued a statement in support of Kylie Jenner despite the considerable criticism.
It stated, “Kylie, Naomi, and Irina’s appearances honor the beauty of wild animals and may be a statement against trophy hunting, in which lions and wolves are killed to satisfy human egos.”
“We encourage everyone to stick to cruelty-free designs that showcase human creativity and prevent animal suffering,” the statement continued.
In a tweet, however, Peta urged Kylie, Schiaparelli, and supermodels to “extend this creativity to be 100% vegan and exclude sheep shorn bloody for wool and silkworms boiled to death for silk!”
