A 12-year-old girl named Jamie-Lee Harvey from Ayr, Scotland, is missing after boarding a train to a town 15 miles away from her home. The police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.
Jamie-Lee was last seen at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, March 14th, boarding a train headed for Glasgow from Ayr train station.
According to officers, she left the train at Irvine and is thought to be in the Irvine area.
Jamie-Lee is described as being of medium build, 5ft tall, with long light brown-coloured hair.
She was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, black jumper, black leggings, and black trainers.
Sergeant Fraser Chisholm of Ayr Police Office has requested that anyone with information on Jamie-Lee’s whereabouts or who may have seen her contact the police.
The police are currently carrying out investigations, but they have urged anyone with information on Jamie-Lee’s whereabouts to come forward.
They suspect that Jamie-Lee may have frequented the Irvine area, and they are encouraging anyone who may have seen her to get in touch.
Those with information are asked to contact the police via 101, quoting reference number 2777 of 14 March 2023.
