This weekend, Priddy Ugly and Cassper Nyovest will square off in a boxing match in Tshwane.
On Saturday, October 1, the most anticipated “Celeb City” event will take place at the Sun Bet Arena.
The “Soil” actor, who appeared confident and ready to be proclaimed winner this weekend, rushed to Twitter to dispel rumors that he might be utilizing medications to assist him overcome Nyovest.
“I’m reading rumors about steroids under my post; it’s crazy that men believe I can’t look this amazing naturally,” stated Priddy Ugly.
“For your information, I am the one who requested that we remain drug-free and undergo drug tests every couple of weeks leading up to the fight. BEING READY and awaiting the test for five weeks now.”

And when his opponent threatened to beat him to a pulp, he simply said, “I had to shed a lot of muscle mass in order to fight you.

In honor of his approaching victory over Nyovest, the rapper showed his new back tattoo, an eagle that he claimed took more than 12 hours to finish.
He then thanked his family and teammates for their support.
“I would like to use this opportunity to thank my trainers, sparring partners, instructors, mentors, team, family, God, and ancestors. I’m prepared thanks to you all! MAKWANDE,” the celebrity wrote.
Meanwhile, Nyovest recently confirmed that just weeks before the event he had lost significant sponsors.
Nyovest stated, “With Sponsors and TV partners bailing out of this fight, it will take a miracle to turn it around, but I ain’t giving up.”
“… we lost our partnership with SS, which resulted in the loss of betting company sponsorship due to their desire for television,”
“As things stand, the only individuals who will see the battle are those who purchased tickets to attend it in person. No TV or streaming,” the celebrity said.
The “Celeb City” exhibition boxing match is part of a weekend-long festival featuring musical acts. It runs from September 30 to October 2, inclusive.
