Princess Eugenie is expecting her second child!
The royal and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, revealed their second pregnancy on Tuesday.
“We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” the pregnant star captioned an Instagram photo of 1-year-old son August kissing her stomach.
The couple became parents in February 2021 with the birth of their son.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021,” read Buckingham Palace’s statement at the time. “The baby weighs 8 lbs. 1 oz.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news,” the announcement concluded.
The couple uploaded the first image of their son on Instagram on the same day, with just his hand visible.
Nearly two weeks later, August’s face and name were revealed.
“We wanted to introduce you,” the couple captioned the infant’s debut. “Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human.
“Words can’t express,” they gushed. “We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.”
Princess Beatrice, the elder sister of Eugenie, gave birth to daughter Sienna in September of the same year.
The 34-year-old princess was already the stepmother of Christopher “Wolfie,” her husband’s son from his previous marriage to Dara Huang.
The creator of Banda Property and Beatrice wed in July of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eugenie, 32, and Brooksbank, 33, tied the knot in October 2018, nine months after their engagement.
