Residents in Johannesburg should expect to be without water for two days.
This is due to a scheduled water cutoff on the 2nd and 3rd of June.
According to Rand Water’s bulk water provider, the raw water pipe that serves the Vereeniging water purification plant is being repaired.
Water supply from the Rand Water Eikenhof pump station to the south of Johannesburg, the CBD, and the northern and western suburbs will be reduced by 25%.
The western suburbs of Johannesburg, the Randburg area, the Roodepoort area, and a few Soweto areas will be impacted.
