Over the past two years, more than 1,000 Boko Haram terrorists have surrendered to the Nigerian military following the destruction of their camps in the North East.

He compared it unfavorably to the provisions he received during his time at the barracks, stating that it has become increasingly challenging for them to consume the meals provided.

Urgently appealing to the government, he requested protection and security measures to ensure his safety and prevent him from returning to terrorist activities after rehabilitation.

The quality of food and welfare support provided to them requires improvement, while ensuring their personal safety and security is of utmost importance.

Additionally, the monitoring and evaluation process should be strengthened to effectively assess the progress and reintegration of these individuals into society.

Addressing these issues will contribute to the successful rehabilitation and prevention of their return to terrorist activities.
