Scandal! Viewers frustrations with the show’s current storyline

Scandal! Viewers have flocked to social media to express their dissatisfaction with Mdala and Lindiwe’s current storyline and characters.
Fans of the soapie have shared that the show has lost its spark since the arrival of the Kubekas and Mdala.

Viewers are exhausted of Scandal!’s never-ending storyline between Lindiwe, Mdala, and Nhlamulo (Mathews Rantsoma).

  • Mdala rescued Nhlamulo’s wife Lindiwe (Nomvelo Makhanya) in last night’s episode and brought her back to his apartment instead of taking her home.
  • What infuriated viewers, even more, was when Mdala – who is already married proposed marriage to Lindiwe who is also married.
  • The show’s storylines have not been a hit with viewers since the exits of Quinton Nyathi, Romeo Medupe, Xolile Langa, and more.
  • The show also introduced a new family – The Kubeka’s who fans have described as dull and exhausting.
  • Fans have called on writers and producers to get rid of the new family as they’ve done nothing for the show.
  • They’ve also taken to social media to complain about two new characters – Nhlamulo and Mdala (James Sithole).
  • The latter is compared to Romeo ( Hungani Ndlovu) and Mthunzi Meyiwa (Bongile Mantsai) who brought in viewers and made the show more exciting.
