ABU DHABI, 27th May, 2022 (WAM) — The Conference and Exhibition on Digital Economy Technologies (Seamless Middle East 2022) will be held in Dubai from 31st May to 1st June, 2022 at the World Trade Centre.
The event, held under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, is jointly organised by the Arav League, the Arab Union for the Digital Economy, and Terrapinn International, a global leader in conference organisation.
This year’s conference is expected to witness the announcement of the Arab Digital Economy Index 2022 report, which is one of the most important initiatives of the Arab vision for the digital economy announced in Abu Dhabi in 2018.
The report aims to reflect the current digital and economic situation of all Arab countries, highlighting strengths, opportunities and areas of development. It also provides key insights and recommendations to policymakers across the Arab region to achieve long-term economic and digital growth objectives, improve productivity levels, and grow the labour market and business.
The conference and exhibition are considered the largest in the Middle East in digital economy topics, drawing 350 international companies. This year’s edition will also witness a huge turnout, as more than 10,000 visitors have been registered so far, with over 350 speakers from international bodies such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the International Telecommunication Union.
Participations will be featured in 200 specialised sessions on the sidelines of the exhibition, shedding light on the latest technologies and challenges in the digital revolution.
A select group of international experts will take part in the conference sessions and will tackle the main topics of the conference, including the smart services and applications, financial services, digital payments, AI, e-commerce and banking services. Dozens of sessions and lectures on advanced digital applications in public and private sectors will also be held.
