Shehu Sani Claims Tinubu’s Ex-Governors Are Liabilities, Reacts to Fashola Allegations

Shehu Sani’s Assertion on Tinubu’s Ministerial Appointments

Former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Shehu Sani, recently shared his perspective on the ministerial appointments made by President Bola Tinubu.

According to Sani, the nine former governors nominated for ministerial positions represent Tinubu’s liabilities, while the technocrats on the list represent his assets.

The inclusion of figures like Nyesom Wike, Nasir El-Rufai, Dave Umahi, and Bello Matawalle among the ex-governors has sparked diverse reactions among Nigerians.

Fashola’s Denial of Writing Presidential Tribunal Judgment

In response to allegations against Babatunde Fashola, the former governor of Lagos State, a Twitter user accused him and some All Progressives Congress (APC) lawyers of writing a judgment to be handed over to the judges.

Fashola’s special adviser on media, Hakeem Bello, refuted these claims, calling them “baseless and defamatory” and labeling those behind the accusations as “agents of destabilization.”

Sani’s View on Fashola’s Allegations

Shehu Sani weighed in on the matter, expressing his skepticism about the alleged involvement of the Presidential election tribunal’s Justices.

Despite acknowledging the existence of mysteries and myths in Nigeria, Sani found it hard to believe that the Justices would compromise their integrity by allowing someone to write the judgment for them.

He considered the story either speculative or preemptive fiction.

In conclusion, Shehu Sani believes that Tinubu’s former governors serve as his liabilities, while the technocrats represent his assets.

Additionally, he finds the allegations of Fashola writing the Presidential tribunal judgment hard to believe, considering the esteemed position held by the Justices.
