Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been brutally insulted in a “South Park” episode based on the exiled royals.
The latest edition of the show, dubbed “The Worldwide Privacy Tour,” highlights the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s choice to relocate across the pond in a desperate attempt for solitude.
The episode focuses on a couple who migrate to a fictional village for seclusion. It begins with a disclaimer stating that all characters, including those based on real people, are fake.
Yet despite the fact that the episode does not specifically name the couple, viewers have observed that they appear identical to the royals and even wear the same attire.
The amusing episode begins with Ike, Kyle’s adoptive Canadian brother, stricken with grief at hearing the news that the Queen of Canada had died. The alleged queen bears a strong likeness to Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8, 2022.
The Prince and Princess of Canada are seen attending the burial, but they are booed by the other royals since they have “maligned the Canadian monarchy.”
In an attempt to clear their names, the couple, who are labeled “dumb” in the episode, go on “Good Morning Canada,” where the prince holds up a placard reading “We want privacy!” Next to him, the princess is holding a sign that reads, “Stop staring at us.”
The two also advertise the prince’s new book, “Waaagh,” which bears an uncanny resemblance to Prince Harry’s recently published memoir, “Spare.”
After admitting he “hates” journalists, the prince states in the episode, “We just want to be normal people — all this attention is so difficult.”
The pair later embarked on their globe “We want privacy” tour aboard a glitzy private plane.
After completing their global tour, the couple settles in South Park, where the princess declares, “If we moved here, people would think we’re serious about wanting to be normal.”
Paradoxically, the prince and princess announce their desire for privacy by affixing banners to their new residence.
However, it appears that their entrance has angered locals, notably Kyle, who is not delighted to have royals as his neighbors.
Kyle complains that the prince and princess’ private jet is parked in front of their property, which is directly across from his.
Kyle groans, “They have this enormous jet parked in front of my house, and they insist on selling me their book.”
“I am exhausted by hearing about them. But I cannot escape them since they are everywhere. On my f—ing face,” he continues.
