A young girl was brought to the hospital following a horrific playground mishap in which she severed her finger tips.
On Monday, just before 1:30 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a park on Homebush Road in Strathfield after receiving reports of a severely injured youngster.
A five-year-old girl’s hand became entangled in a carousel in the playground, where it was discovered by paramedics and council officials.

Monday before 1:30 p.m., emergency services were dispatched to a park on Homebush Road in Strathfield to find a severely injured girl.
The NSW Police and NSW Ambulance attended to her while firefighters located her severed fingers.
The child was subsequently transported to Westmead Children’s Hospital for emergency surgery.
