A toddler who fell down a 13-meter (42-foot) well in rural Thailand was rescued by rescuers on Tuesday, following an overnight digging operation.
Monday afternoon, a 19-month-old daughter was playing in Tak province, near the Myanmar border, when she slipped into a 30-centimeter-wide well.

Using a mechanized digger, rescuers labored through the night to reach the girl, who is the daughter of Myanmarese migrant workers.
“She exhibits signs of fatigue, but her vital signs remain stable,” said Phop Phra police commander Ratsaran Ketsoising to AFP.

Rescuers wearing hard hats were shown on video laboring at the bottom of a deep gully of red soil.
The girl is undergoing medical examinations at the hospital.
