Viewers of The River said their goodbyes to Mohumi, who was killed by Lindiwe at the end of season four.
Fans were also taken aback when the sitcom released a teaser for season five, revealing that Mabutho (Thembinkosi Mthembu) will marry.
The River season four ended on a high note when Lindiwe Dikana killed her baby daddy – Mohumi in a helicopter just like in season three when she killed her daughter Tumi Mokoena-Dikana.
Lindiwe killed Mohumi (Seputla Sebogodi) on their daughter – Tumi’s (Larona Moagi) death anniversary on Friday.
#TheRiver1Magic predict that her husband Zweli Dikana (Hlomla Dandala) will also die in season five.
Fans of the 1Magic telenovela are already devastated by the thought of Zweli dying as he’s Lindiwe’s (Sindi Dlathu) rock.
Lindiwe already lost two children – Mbali Dikana and Tumi in previous seasons and they don’t want her to lose any more people even though she’s a murderer.
SEASON FIVE TEASER
The season five teaser also indicated that Cobra Mokoena (Presley Chueneyagae) will get upgraded by Lindiwe and get a new house and car.
The end of season four showed Cobra in the helicopter with Lindiwe when Mohumi got killed.
Season five will bring major changes for the Mokoenas who have been living in poverty since season one.
Viewers also predict that Mabutho will marry Zweli Dikana’s daughter Nomonde Dikana (Linda Mtoba) who he dated in season four.
The new season also revealed the return of Zolani Dlamini (Lawrence Maleka) who was sentenced to prison in season four.
