But here’s the thing: players are going to play, and as long as it’s done in a consensual manner, all of this appears to be an extreme reaction that does not reflect well on the ultra-conservative network. There is nothing wrong with ensuring a safe workplace, but there is something wrong with potentially jeopardizing the careers of two anchors who have worked hard to achieve their current positions due to their messy personal lives (which would be kept private if not for the disgusting tabloid culture).
