At least 15 fatalities and around 50 injuries have been reported in the aftermath of a devastating train crash in southern Pakistan.

The incident occurred near Nawabshah, in the Sindh province, approximately 275 km (171 miles) away from Karachi, the country’s largest city.

Rescue crews promptly transported the wounded to the nearby Peoples Hospital in Nawabshah.
