During Wednesday’s Super Bowl parade in Kansas City, one fan filmed one of the highlights of Travis Kelce breaking loose.
The two-time Super Bowl winner was holding a Bud Light bottle and fist-pumping at shouting supporters while riding the top deck of a Chiefs bus along the parade route. Kelce threw and caught a Fireball shooter in a viral scene, then grinned at the spectators and ate the party gift.
One Twitter user named Brookylm Burks shared the video with the question, “How was that fireball shot?” followed by two fire emojis. She also tagged Kelce and the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, titled New Heights. The Chiefs of Travis were victorious in a dramatic Super Bowl 2023, 38-35.
Wednesday, the New Heights Twitter account retweeted the video with the caption “Those cinnamon delights @tkelce” and a crying-laughing emoji, to to Burks’ surprise. The fan’s day was made when Kelce himself retweeted the New Heights message from his personal account.
Burks added, “Kind of freaking out because trav retweeted this video I took.”
Burks retweeted photographs and videos of the freshly crowned Chiefs celebrating their second Super Bowl championship in four years.
Burks tweeted on Monday, “Every time the Chiefs win, it’s ‘because of the refs’ [crying laughing emojis] just admit we’re the greatest team on Earth and move on.”The video has received over 284,000 views in less than twenty-four hours. In addition to Fox Sports: NFL and Barstool Sports, more accounts also posted the footage.
Kelce has 110 receptions, 1,338 yards, and 12 touchdowns during the 2022 regular season. The favorite target of Patrick Mahomes gained 257 yards, four touchdowns, and a second Super Bowl ring during the postseason, including a touchdown against the Eagles.
