In a recent development, the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, took to Twitter to announce the appointment of forty-seven media aides.
The newly constituted media team is expected to serve the people effectively, according to the governor’s statement.
The team also includes Ijafiya Domiya as the SSA for Digital and Visual Communication, Sherif Alhassan as the SSA for Electronic Media, and Muhammed Tukur, Nurudeen Kama, Pius Iliya, Awal Hamza, and Thomas Terry as SSAs for New Media. Additionally, Barrister Sunday Wugirah has been appointed as the SSA for Public Affairs, and Victor Dogo as the SSA for Social Mobilization.
Others criticized the decision, questioning the need for such a large team and the potential cost implications for the state.
