Just hours before her’suspicious’ death, chilling CCTV footage shows a two-year-old daughter being carried by an adult in a sling carrier.
The unnamed infant of Jessica and Adam Hanbury passed away on December 29 after being sent to a hospital in McKay, Queensland.
Her death is being investigated as a’serious investigation’ of the ‘highest priority’ with the establishment of an incident centre by the police.
Newly obtained CCTV shows the girl being carried on a harness with a mother and several other young children in the United Chemist on Oak Street, Andergrove in Mackay between 3.50 and 4 p.m., barely hours before she was pronounced dead.

The detectives would also like to speak with anyone who was at the Coles Supermarket on the same street between 4:00 and 5:00 that day.
In the clip, the faces of the Hanbury family have been obscured.
The toddler has four older brothers and sisters.

Early in 2020, the family of seven relocated to Mackay, some 970 kilometers north of Brisbane, and settled in the city’s north.
Prior to her passing, Detective Acting Inspector Chris Eaton of the Queensland Police stated that the young girl was ill. The police have not established whether she was harmed or ill.
According to the family acquaintance, Mr. Hanbury was at work when he learned that his daughter had been hospitalized.
Detectives would like to contact with anyone who was in the Coles Supermarket on the same street between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. that afternoon.
He told the Courier Mail, “He didn’t have a car, so he borrowed mine and rushed to the hospital where his wife was.”
At 3am, I drove them home.
The tragic death of the girl is being investigated by detectives from the Mackay Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) with the aid of the Child Trauma Unit, Crime and Intelligence Command.
