A Ukrainian refugee who escaped her home with her children during the Russian bombing last year is now set to attend a Eurovision watch party in Berkshire, thanks to the support of a local charity.
The Cowshed, based in Wokingham, has been assisting Ukrainian refugees since the beginning of the war and will be hosting the watch party for 250 Ukrainians who sought asylum in the local area.
The event aims to provide a festive atmosphere with large screens, hand-sewn bunting, chocolate gifts for children, and celebratory flower arrangements.

Yuliia, a 40-year-old Ukrainian refugee living in Wokingham, sought help from The Cowshed when she arrived in England with her two young children and husband.
