Undercover police officers from the British Transport Police successfully apprehended Abdulrizak Ali Hersi, a sex offender who attacked a 13-year-old girl on the Piccadilly Line during rush hour.
Hersi was observed standing close to the train doors after boarding at Green Park.
The officers witnessed him sexually assaulting the teenage girl when a family boarded at the next stop.
Acting swiftly, the officers grabbed Hersi and removed him from the train, leading to his subsequent arrest.
