Candidates with the necessary qualifications are encouraged to apply for admission to the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2022/2023 session. The programme leads to the awarding of the JUPEB certificate, which qualifies applicants for Direct Entry Admissions into their respective second-year degree programmes at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and overseas.

Eligible candidates must have earned a minimum of five credits at a maximum of two sittings in at least five topics (including English Language) pertinent to the candidate’s intended course of study at the university.
The minimum length of the curriculum is one academic year, or two semesters.

How to Fill Out the UNN JUPEB Admission Application
Pay the N20,000.00 application fee via the Remita payment platform at any bank. You are to prepare a payment invoice containing a remita number; the invoice printout will allow you to pay at the bank. (Please be aware that bank fees are applicable and must be paid)
Visit unnportal.unn.edu.ng/ Click on Generate Payment Invoice under JUPEB
Enter your phone number and press the submit button.
Enter your Last Name, First Name, and Middle Name and press the submit button.
Print your bill and then proceed to the bank.
After completing bank payments, visit the portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng)
Enter your Remita number and then click submit.
Fill out the form and attach a passport photos with a white backdrop and a color passport.
The passport photo must be recent (taken within three months of the application), and its file size should not exceed 100KB.
Fill out the form and click the submit button.

Applicants to the preliminary programme for 2022/2023 are recommended to visit our website periodically for updates and other pertinent information.
During the program, all applicants must register for the 2023 Direct entry UTME.
Each applicant must provide a valid email address and PERSONAL telephone number.
After visiting the website, the forms must be completed and submitted online either immediately or within two weeks. No printed or downloaded versions of forms will be accepted.
Candidates are recommended to strictly adhere to the Application Instructions and select the Correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS. Failure to do so could be detrimental to the candidate.
