A Vikings fan who flipped off a Giants player during Sunday’s NFC Wild Card game was awarded a touchdown ball.
The little fan, who was sitting in a Vikings suite behind the goalpost, made two appearances on the Fox broadcast, the first of which included a double-bird to Giants receiver Isaiah Hodgins.
With just over a minute remaining in the first quarter, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed a 14-yard touchdown pass to Hodgins.
Hodgins then spiked the ball and appeared to swear at the little fan, who is depicted raising two middle fingers in the air.
During Sunday’s NFC Wild Card game, a Vikings fan who appeared to flip off Giants receiver Isaiah Hodgins caught a touchdown pass from Minnesota wideout K.J. Osborn in the second quarter.
Osborn’s 9-yard touchdown reception from Kirk Cousins cut the Giants’ halftime advantage to three points, 17-14.
After falling behind by 10 early in the third quarter, the Vikings tied the game early in the fourth quarter, but Saquon Barkley’s 2-yard touchdown was the difference in the Giants’ 31-24 triumph.
This was the Giants’ first playoff victory since Super Bowl XLVI, when they defeated the Patriots.
The Giants will now face their divisional round opponent, the No. 1 seed Eagle, on Saturday night.
