Warren Gatland is set to announce his Wales side for their upcoming match against Italy in Rome on Saturday.
It is expected that there will be several changes to the team that was defeated by England in their previous match, with up to seven alterations in total.
Among those who could be benched is Louis Rees-Zammit.
Alun Wyn Jones may also be left out, while Rhys Webb may be given his first Test start since 2020, having spent most of the Wayne Pivac era on the sidelines.
It is anticipated that Dan Biggar will partner Webb at half-back, with Liam Williams returning at full-back and Rio Dyer slotting in out wide.
Up front, players such as Wyn Jones, Dafydd Jenkins, and Jac Morgan are expected to start.
Gatland will reveal his team later this morning, followed by a press conference where he will explain his selection decisions.
