The matter of the gruesome murder of Sofiyah at the hands of her boyfriend, 18- year- old Soliu Majekodunmi, for ritual purposes in Ogun State, is still trending online.
The suspects.
It was reported earlier that the teenager had learnt the practice of ritual killing on Facebook before he conspired with three friends of his to murder his girlfriend Sofiyah.
While on parade, the suspect also confessed that he started down the dark path of ritual murder by first typing how to perform money rituals on Facebook, with the link he clicked telling him to decapitate a girl, then use a local pot to burn the skull of the deceased.
Now, he and his partners in crime further admitted that their killing of Sofiyah was motivated by a desire to drive exotic vehicles and reside in luxury houses.
To perpetuate their sordid act, the suspects narrated that they bought some pigeon eggs for the ritual, as well as some other unidentified fetish objects, which they put inside the pot in which they were burning the head of late Sofiyah.
These new revelations have attracted a lot of indignation from people online. It’ s a wonder how small boys as these, who should be in school, have the mind to conceive such callousness against the dead girl. See some thoughts on the matter below:
@Anonymous: Because it’ s the same juju priests that do human rituals for politicians, that’ s why the evil priests are sacred. Arrest them today, politicians will set them free the next day. Without dealing with the juju priests as well, this nonsense can’ t stop.
@Henryflo: Why didn’ t you type how to work hard and succeed in life? I pity girls nowadays who don’ t want to follow legitimate hustlers but are obsessed with Yahoo plus boys.
@Gabriel Ejeh: The truth is these young boys are not ready to tell the truth, because they were being brainwashed. If they mention names, they will run mad or die and the evil men are out there doing what they doing.
@Brain Washed: Drug abuse and public display of funds, also Nollywood giving the impression that one can make money from ritual killing, has led to this juvenile delinquency, they believe money can be made from ritual killing.
@Anthony Femi: Why can’ t they use their juju to cure ailments, diseases or even wipe out malaria from Nigeria? The whole world will respect them for that but instead, they hypnotize people to get rich.
I wonder how these guys that can’ t even type a correct word in English communicate with their clients and the transfer of cash will start flowing, I have seen up to a score of these boys building houses, supermarkets and buying fancy cars up and down.
