Whiskers’ Great Escape: Cat Wanders 10 Miles from Home, Trapped in Drainage Pipe

In a harrowing incident, a cat found itself in a perilous situation when it accidentally got its head trapped inside a drainage pipe, resembling what a passerby mistook as a “thick collar.”

The cat, named Lila, who is two years old, had ventured away from her home and ended up exploring a nearby building site in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.

However, after realizing that the feline was in distress, they immediately contacted the RSPCA for assistance.

Thankfully, her injuries were not severe, only consisting of a minor cut at the back of one of her legs and some swelling around her neck.
