Xana Kernodle received a DoorDash package just moments before her and roommates were killed on November 13

According to a recently published police affidavit, Idaho murder victim Xana Kernodle received a DoorDash delivery minutes before she, her boyfriend, and her three friends were killed.

According to the affidavit, Kernodle received the meal order approximately 4 a.m. on the evening of November 13 and describes how Moscow Police Officer Brett Payne discovered the four college students fatally stabbed inside the home on Kings Street.

Dylan Mortensen, who survived the attack, claimed to have overheard Kaylee Goncalves, 21, remark “Someone’s here,” around 12 minutes later. However, a forensic examination indicates that Kernodle may have simply been watching movies on TikTok at the time.

According to police, Bryan Kohberger killed Kernodle, her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and others that night between 4 and 4.25 a.m.

On December 30, more than a month after the quadruple homicide, Kohberger, 28, was taken into custody.
