Babylon Bee
The right-wing satire site was suspended after tweeting an anti-trans joke about Rachel Levine. The Bee replied by calling Levine “Man of the Year,” breaching Twitter’s hostile behavior rules.
Babylon Bee refused to remove the obscene message to regain Twitter access.
“Truth isn’t hateful. If stating the truth means losing Twitter, so be it. We won’t lie to maintain our job “22-Mar-CEO Seth Dillon wrote.
The Bee tweeted when its account returned Friday: “Again. Consider that.”
Kathy Griffin
The comedian was banned from Twitter November 6 after impersonating Elon Musk.
Musk established a new Twitter policy after Griffin’s ban: “Any Twitter accounts engaged in impersonation without stating ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended.”
Griffin demanded her reinstatement by using her late mother’s account. The account posted, “#FreeKathy #TipIt.” (It’s concealed.)
Musk reported on November 18 that Griffin recovered Twitter access. Griffin replied on Instagram, tweeting:
“Eilon, Fool, you messed up. I’m headed to my head basement. “Go” Beheader Xxoo”
Jordan Peterson
Before Musk’s takeover, the conservative psychologist and novelist was suspended. Peterson called Elliott Page by his prior name, which violates Twitter’s harassment regulations.
Peterson said in a 15-minute video after his suspension that he wouldn’t erase the offending tweet to reclaim his account “Awkward, moralists. Who’ll cancel?”
Peterson thanked Musk with a picture from “The Shining”
Peterson then urged for anonymous accounts to be terminated, stating “troll-demons” should “go to hell.” Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s founder, said removing anonymity “would be a mistake.”
Andrew Tate
The kickboxer-turned-internet sensation was banned from Twitter in 2017 following provocative statements.
“Sexual harassment is reprehensible. However. Men gazing, whistling, or asking your name isn’t harassment “Metro says Tate tweeted. “Be accountable. This zero-blame game hurts women’s rights. Guard, “saying Tate has declared that women “belong to the male” that he would rather date a 19-year-old than a 26-year-old since the younger lady has “gone through less dick.”
Tate was banned from Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok after a popular post alleged he taught youngsters to be violent misogynists.
Tate tweeted a video of himself enjoying a cigar on an aircraft after regaining Twitter access, claiming he was travelling to California to “inform @elonmusk he’s a legend.”
Ye
Sunday was Kanye West’s Twitter comeback.
“TESTING Trying to unblock Twitter “Sunday, Ye wrote. Musk replied, “Don’t murder what you hate/Save what you love.”
Ye’s Twitter account was suspended in October for breaking restrictions. Rapper tweeted antisemitic tweets, including one about “doing def con 3 on Jews.”
