Moroka Swallows Bolster Squad with Former Orlando Pirates Trio and More
Moroka Swallows, in an effort to reinforce their squad for the second half of the season, has secured the services of three former Orlando Pirates players.
Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Letsie Koapeng, and Augustine Mahlokono have all joined the Dube Birds, aiming to address the team’s current challenges.
Former Pirates Trio and Additional Signings:
Ntsikelelo Nyauza, who spent several seasons at Orlando Pirates before being released, has returned to the PSL, signing with Moroka Swallows as a free agent.
Joining him are Letsie Koapeng and Augustine Mahlonoko, who have also inked deals with the Dube Birds.

The trio’s experience and skills aim to contribute significantly to Swallows’ performance.
Further Squad Additions:
In addition to the former Pirates trio, Moroka Swallows has expanded its roster by securing the services of right-back Basil Mphahlele, central midfielder Roland Sanou, and attackers Lwanda Mbanjwa and Jacob Everson.
These acquisitions reflect the team’s comprehensive approach to reinforce various positions on the field.
Swallows’ Response to Departures:
Following the departure of several key figures last month, Moroka Swallows has strategically brought in new players to maintain competitiveness.

The team has addressed positions that needed reinforcement due to recent departures, showcasing proactive management.
Musa Nyatama’s Potential Role:
Amidst these changes, there are indications that Musa Nyatama may assume a leadership role, possibly taking over from coach Steve Komphela, who faces an uncertain future at Swallows.
The absence of communication from the club to Komphela has added an element of uncertainty to the coaching staff.
Conclusion:
As Moroka Swallows actively reshapes their squad with experienced players and potential changes in coaching staff, the team’s dynamics and performance will be closely observed in the upcoming matches.
