Police Intervention and Arrests
Law enforcement had to intervene swiftly to restore order. Police Scotland later confirmed the arrest of two individuals, a 48-year-old and a 23-year-old, in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson stated, ‘Around 5 pm on Saturday, 10 February 2024, police received a report of a disturbance in the London Road area of Stranraer.’
Both arrested individuals were charged, and a comprehensive report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Use of Tasers and Pyrotechnics Investigation
Amid the turmoil, it is reported that police officers equipped with tasers were present at the match, though tasers were not discharged.
Additionally, Police Scotland is actively investigating the use of pyrotechnics during the match’s conclusion.
They released a statement urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing the seriousness of incidents that compromise public safety.
Victory Marred by Violence
Fylde secured victory on the pitch, but the win was overshadowed by the disturbing post-match events.
