URC Achieves Record-Breaking Single Round Attendance of 146,046

URC Sets Astounding Attendance Record in Round Nine
In a spectacular display of rugby enthusiasm, the recent local derby between the Bulls and Lions at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria contributed to a staggering total attendance of 146,046 across the league during round nine.
This achievement marks a new pinnacle for single-round attendance in the URC.
Surpassing Previous Records: A Remarkable Leap of 10,000 Attendees
This remarkable feat follows closely on the heels of a notable 135,747 attendees recorded in round eight earlier this month.
The final game of round nine, where the Bulls narrowly triumphed over the Lions, propelled the league to surpass the previous record by at least 10,000 attendees.
This surge in attendance underscores the growing popularity of the United Rugby Championship.
